Mt Pleasant House

This gorgeous yet tired Peter Overman Original was in need of an update for it’s new owners and their growing family. With the mid-century modern house serving as the structural and design foundations, we carefully crafted an expansive addition which retained the authentic character while incorporating modern design elements.

The primary addition was a raised viewing deck which cantilevers out over a kidney-shaped pool from the new open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area.

The result is an impressive, elevated view of Perth city, and a refined connection between the indoor & outdoor spaces.

Embracing the essence of the mid-century modern movement, we blended rich timbers, clean lines and crisp whites to achieve a slight contemporary twist. The result is a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation that stands as a testament to our commitment to exceptional architecture.
